Opulent Fabrics

Chenille is a type of fabric that is characterized by its soft, plush texture and a slightly fuzzy surface. The fabric is made by weaving together short, fluffy fibers (chenille yarns) with a cotton or synthetic core. The yarns are then sheared to create the characteristic soft, velvety surface. On the other hand, Bouclé, an epitome of luxury and elegance, is a sumptuous fabric characterized by its looped and curled yarns. The intricate play of textures and patterns created by the yarns of different thickness and length, lends an air of refinement and sophistication.

Worth the wait

Like others I was very skeptical at first - the website is compelling but it is hard to find any info about the company outside of their website. Some of the reviews seemed sketchy too (definitely a few fake ones, but I agree with every review) - I can assure you these pieces are real and are very well done. Just make sure you are prepared for the process. Things to keep in mind: the 1-12 week lead time is to construct the piece(s), then they have to ship from China, go through customs, then through a delivery service. Took about 3 months total, but the pieces are so worth it. Great build construction, easy enough to move into your own space, and look just like the real thing. Not too heavy, not too light, very very dense and comfortable. Customer service is responsive, but you have to take initiative to get updates and you likely won't get much info about exact shipping or delivery dates. But if you want a custom, brand new, nearly perfect togo without the price of an original, this is the way to go.

I absolutely love it!

So I'm going to be as transparent as possible. When I first ordered this couch I was like 70% sure I was getting scammed because 1) There is no number to contact customer service and 2) The address I typed in that was on their email came back to a fedex in Florida somewhere. Not to mention I searched some of the images from the previous reviews and one was literally was a lignet roset post from instagram photoshopped to look orange instead of red (not really sure what that was about) and then the $200 discount just seemed too good to be true. Against my better judgement, despite all of the red flags I ordered anyway. I figured the risk would be lower if I financed since it would be the bank's money and not mine, so thats what I did. With that being said this couch is definitely my favorite item in my apartment. It is a 5/5 easy. The only thing that could make it better is if I'd found an actual togo from lignet roset for the same price.Leather is great, it's comfortable, and its very sturdy. It's a bit lighter than I was expecting as far as the leather color but not far off from the one pictured as the model piece. I think it's just the lighting. Anyway, shipping took about 3 months and the couch is coming from China, so there goes about 2 of the questions you'll have answered for you if you decide to order. Communication isn't terrible through email, but the chat could be better and you'll be able to track your sofa from China to the US but after that good luck. You just kind of have to wait at that point because there's really no tracking provided for the US, at least in my experience. Anyway, all in all I'd recommend the actual couch. Customer service is nice but they could make tracking your order a bit of a smoother process. I understand they're a relatively new company so maybe some of those hiccups will be fixed over time though.

Fine for kids

As a mom, I'm constantly looking for furniture that is both fashionable and useful, and I actually read the reviews from other moms. The Togo Sofa that I purchased from Merior is revolutionary. In addition to having that stylish, recognizable appearance, it is also wonderfully comfortable and long-lasting, making it ideal for family movie nights. Initially, I was concerned about how it would hold up around the kids, but the quality is excellent. The area has grown to be a household favorite for our family.

Retro Lovers

I've always had a thing for retro styles, and one of my all-time faves is the Togo Sofa by Michel Ducaroy. I was a little skeptical when I first saw the reproduction on Merior's website. But now that I have it, I'm in love! It exudes an unmistakably vintage flavor while still feeling new. It feels just like the original, and the quality is excellent. Merior truly did justice to Ducaroy's iconic design. It's like having a piece of history in my living room!

Great chair.. tough service

Okay so this chair… literally rocks. Obsessed. ESP obsessed because I ordered it in February and it is now May 9th. It took a VERY long time to get here, and Merior was good at communicating at first, but towards the end I had to contact the cargo company that carried the chair over, as well as schedule the drop off of the chair. Glad to do these things, but it took some googling and emailing the extraneous companies to get things rolling, as merior said they were going to work out the scheduling and they did not. So anyway, great piece but tough shipping and delivery experience.
