Teakwood and Rattan Weave

As seen on

01

Rattan Weave

Rattan is a natural material that is derived from the stems of climbing palms and is known for its durability, flexibility, and attractive texture. Rattan can be woven into a variety of patterns and designs, including herringbone, chevron, and diamond patterns, among others. Each piece is unique and the natural cane tones / weave patterns do vary.
There may be some split/loose fibers in the cane which is natural and will not affect the structural integrity of the chair.

02

Wooden Frame

The chair features a solid teak wood frame with straight, tapered legs and angled armrests that provide both stability and comfort. The wooden frame is typically finished with a light, natural finish that showcases the beauty of the teak wood grain, and the seat and backrest are made of either leather or cane to create a comfortable and supportive seating experience.

Year it was born

The Chandigarh Series was a collection of furniture designed by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand for the city of Chandigarh, India in the 1950s. The project was commissioned by the government of Punjab to create furniture for public buildings and housing in the city. Pierre Jeanneret, who was Le Corbusier's cousin and close collaborator, played a significant role in designing the furniture for the project. He was responsible for designing a large portion of the furniture, including chairs, desks, tables, and storage units.

Good Save

I'm giving 4 stars because originally they sent 1/3 of the pieces I ordered incorrectly, but they were super fast to send me another one and even let me keep the wrong one

Jeanneret Collection

I furnished my new house with the entire collection from here and I can guarantee that the delivery is fast, and the products are top quality - I don't say that about many brands nowadays...
